手錶於71公里,耗時9小時54分電池耗盡,晝面戛然而止,手錶呈現空白,而自己比手錶多撐5公里,於76公里補給站,體力耗盡雙腿僵硬,終將停止雙腿舞動往前,選擇搭收容車而返,當收容車輪轉動之際,再度眺望濁水溪水,胸臆悵然若失之情,隨即溢滿心湖,百k領域數度叩關、征戰、衝撞、均功虧一簣,無功而返,怪自己意志不堅,每次雙足舞動至70-80k左右,身體承受痛苦臨界點時,總是不能堅忍撐住、承受,臨界點帶來的壓力,承受苦痛,撐不住體力竭盡'雙腳僵硬,撐不起淬煉浴火鳳凰灼燙之痛,更沒有往前決心與勇氣,而選擇退縮、逃避、放棄,忘記馬拉松永不放棄的精神,忘記馬拉松沒有痛苦就沒有榮耀真諦, 以致數度衝擊百k,挑戰百里均換來每戰皆墨,鎩羽而歸,徒勞無功之憾,此次濁水溪百K之戰亦然。
