First time to climb the 101 Tower. Maybe top 30.
My goal is reached: finish before 16"33 which is the limit time to run in the Elite group. One people every 2 seconds start the climb so many people were inside: I have to do the do the outside of the stairs most of the time.
My impressions:
- I stopped to drink water in 2 supply stations but it is not necessary. O or 1 stop is enough. The supply stations are not on the way (Outside the staircase) so we lose 15/20 seconds each time. I did not sweat too much also: less than I forecast.
- Gloves are essential: it does not bother me at all and I am sure it is easier to hang the ramp.
- Before the race, I thought it is going to be a long climb and I will be tired at the end but actually, time flies! It was easier.
- I started to run the 10/15th first floors but it is not a must I think because I ran it one step by one step and after 15th floors, I was walking fast 2 steps by 2 steps. I did not lose any time and save some energy by this way.
